I spend most of my time developing talent in LA, Nashville, and Norway. We offer one on one voice lessons, vocal master classes, vocal production and on-line coaching platforms. I genuinely love people and for me music and collaboration have allowed me to follow and live out my dreams. But I have always tried to operate my career and business by always being available. Time management can also be a huge challenge. Most often it is having enough money to build what you are dreaming. I think anyone who is creative or starts a new business faces many challenges and struggles. It’s in the valleys and the mountain tops that the creative soul finds clarity and direction. I don’t think any creative journey is smooth, nor is it supposed to be. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you? We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy.

With over ten years of experience touring as a professional musician, Jason brings real-world knowledge to his holistic approach of building the voice and artist. He also travels the world working with worship teams, speaking at universities and hosting vocal masterclasses. He has worked with stars in all areas of music, film, tv and Broadway. Jason Catron is an internationally sought after vocal coach from Los Angeles, CA. Here is a blurb I use to explain my studio: It was my desire to have a studio that speaks into the mind, body, and soul of the singer. At this time, I established the Vocal Lab LA. I knew it was time to spread my wings in the vocal world in LA and also decided to leave Singing Success. In 2016, I made another bold move and left Tenore after seven years on the road. My first few years were spent coaching for Singing Success and touring with Tenore. In 2011, I made the decision to move to LA. Always having grown up with a mature voice, I felt it would be a good opportunity and give me something to do when I wasn’t on the road touring. Brett had been encouraging me to let him mentor me in the art of coaching. My vocal coach at the time was Brett Manning of Singing Success in Nashville, TN. During my time in this group we won 4 Covenant Awards in Canada. I spent the next seven years touring with Tenore which took us everywhere from Uganda to the Vatican. After a couple of years touring as a solo artist, I was asked to join a group of tenors based in Victoria, BC. Upon graduating I spent a few years working in artist management and eventually left my day job to pursue music full time. This all leads me to making a decision to enroll at Belmont University in Nashville to study Music Business. My teenage years saw me doing musical theater, touring the southeast singing at churches and political events. By seven, my parents started me in voice training, and by age eight, I was doing professional work. A lady came up and gave me a dollar after I sang.
